I'm an English major, and an avid reader. I consume books in all formats: physical, eBook, and audiobook (yes, I believe that counts as reading). When I'm not writing essays or analyzing literature for school, I'm reading or walking on my treadmill, or even both at the same timeš Some of my favorite genres to read are thrillers, horror, romance, rom-coms, comedic memoirs, and cozy mysteries.
I am currently working on my first book, which I plan to have available by the end of this Summer or Mid-Fall (fingers crossed for everything to go well). It's a romance novel, for all you romance lovers out there, but I will officially announce it later on.
My love for reading started when I was a child. My father taught me to read at a very young age, and we would take turns reading story books to each other. I'd read a page, then he'd read a page, and so on. He has since passed away, but the love for literature that he instilled in me has remained and driven me to continue reading and continue learning. I enjoy helping people find books to read and share my love for books with those who will listen (or read, in this case).
The purpose of creating this blog is to share ideas when it comes to literature, which includes praise as well as analysis of a text. I plan on including some short stories, poetry, resources, and hopefully some author interviews (fingers crossed on that, too). This will be an extension of my bookstagram, also with some content that fits better here. I hope the content shared resonates with you, maybe rekindle your connection to books, and encourages you to discuss books with the bookish community.
